Sept. 27, 1996 Dear Leon: Hopefully this letter finds you in great light. I must admit I wasn't in a very reserved mode, after reading about the flare-up between Israelis and Arabs in the West Bank. This could lead to a more severe situation in the near future. The crux of this problem lies much deeper than a Dome of the rock in the holy city. This problem lies in the lack of understanding, consciousness itself, between the people. Hate and not love will not work, control and not freedom also doesn't work. You can't suppress an entire nation of people through disrespect and animosity and expect peace or visa -versa. Now is the time for Bill Clinton to take the opportunity to settle this matter. He can do it. For if we do not have peace in the mid-east, we will never have world peace. Yet if we resolve the problems then it will lead to resolving the rest of the unrest and wars on the planet. If you want terrorism to stop it must begin with a new positive side from the countries in the mid-east. Now!
