Dear Leon and Bill,

I hope you received my last letter regarding the clashes between Israel and Palestinians, sent out September 28, last Saturday. Bill, there is a simple answer to this problem and always has been, and that's agreement and at minimum of some respect for Yassar Arafat from Benjamin Netanyahu, for at least what Arafat has been attempting for so long, Peace in the Mid-East. This is the main goal period. In order to bring this peace, Bill needs to soften up a bit, and get out of the past, into the moment the now, the only real reality. As I mentioned in the last letter, respect is needed on both sides. If the Palestinian people don't want four hundreds of Israeli soldiers surrounding their temple when they are within praying to God that is their right to protect. This can simply be worked out, especially now. It's not worth a single Israeli or Palestinians life. Force will never work it will only feed the fires within. This is not about whom is right or wrong, it is about God's will now. All will have more to contend with than fighting over some hole in the ground, or piece of land, just dirt. If you all want God to show mercy, then you all will have to show mercy and compassion as well. This is a very grave situation. It must be turned around now, so that no more lives are lost. The Israeli people cannot have a decent life under the existing conditions, nor can the Palestinians, many of them have given up because of these conditions of life there and strife. They will blow themselves up in the face of Israelis because they don't like the other alternatives, suppression and depression that now exist. Netanyahu must understand that he will be held responsible for every life lost as this goes on. Netanyahu must give peace a chance, and it will only work through trust and love. Take a chance, drop the borders, open up to your cousins, and see what happens. It can't be worse than what you have now in Israel and Palestine and the rest of the Mid-East. You will all go mad as you can see. Bend, be flexible, and give from within, and in giving you will receive. Please come together in peace it will work
